TOKYO – 7 October 2022 – Cosmo Eco Power Co. Ltd, a dominant owned subsidiary of Cosmo Energy Holdings Co., Ltd., a diversified leading End-to-End Oil business group headquartered in Japan signs agreement with Envision Digital, the global green tech leader for net zero, to accelerate Cosmo Eco Power’s net zero transition.
Cosmo Eco Power is the leading wind asset manager in Japan managing 300-megawatt (MW) of wind energy assets, including utility-scale, commercial and industrial. Meanwhile, Envision Digital’s EnOS net zero platform manages over 220 million devices and 400 gigawatts of electricity, which powers highly configurable, end to end IIOT solutions that use AI to reduce carbon emissions and costs.
Based on this agreement, Cosmo Eco Power will deploy Envision Digital’s advanced analytics and remote monitoring applications in its utility-scale wind farms. These include leveraging the following solutions:
- Envision Digital’s proprietary EnOS™ Net Zero Platform will help improve energy productivity and operational efficiency, enabling Cosmo Eco Power to increase its renewables portfolio and contributing to Japan’s national goal of reducing emissions by 46% by 2030.
- EnOS™ Advanced Analytics’s algorithms will proactively detect emerging system underperformance and component health issues from raw data and deliver recommendations for corrective action. With this, Cosmo Eco Power’s operations and maintenance (O&M) teams can visualize power generation conditions and pre-emptively maintain the long-term efficiency, availability and health of its wind assets.
- EnOS™ Monitoring & Control will overlay real-time remote operational monitoring capabilities across Cosmo Eco Power’s diverse portfolio of distributed wind sites. This allows Cosmo Eco Power’s O&M to realize automatic KPI calculation, proactive availability management, provide immediate recovery support in the event of malfunctions and maximize annual power production.
- EnOS™ Forecaster will provide highly accurate power forecast both at fleet and turbine levels which will dramatically contribute to creating reliable generation plan as well as optimized O&M planning.
